COLUMBIANS & CANADIANS
David Howard, missionary in Colombia, South America, saw God bring many Colombians to Christ. While God was bringing revival in Colombia, David had a brother named Phil who labored with his wife Margaret among the Slavey Indians in the Northwest Territories in Canada. Phil had worked with these Indians for fourteen years without any apparent success. David was so concerned for his brother Phil that he shared his burden with the village chief. Upon hearing about David’s brother, the village leader called the many Christians of his village together and invited them all to pray for Phil. As was their custom, all two hundred people began to pray aloud at the same time. They prayed non-stop for over an hour for Phil and Margaret and their work with the Slavey Indians.
