or MOVING WITH GOD Straight from the pages of Romans 8:28 comes a real-life story of faith, prayer and God’s provision: When our family returned to the United States after several years of missionary service in Portugal, we moved to San Jose, California where I took a position on the staff of a Bay area mission organization. Real estate prices and home rents were soaring through the roof, this being the late 1980’s. The rental vacancy rate was the lowest in history, only one to two percent. As many as five to ten people would show up to see a house, and usually someone would bid up the price of the rent, or the purchase price. I came six weeks early to find a home and start my new job. When my wife and children arrived, we settled into our home on the east side of San Jose – – a good half hour commute from our home church at Calvary…
