Television’s Connie Chung admits that she is incapable of being a superwoman — “the type who, with every hair in place, can hold a job, run a household, exercise or jog, do charity work, sew, iron and make pasta.”
She did try cooking once — a stew for her mother’s birthday — but the meal was a disaster. “My mother looked at me with total understanding,” confesses Chung with a laugh, “and said, ‘That’s all right, dear. You were meant to do the News.’”
