“Your faith has made you well” (Mark 5:34).
It is the Love of God, ultimately, that gives you OK feelings about yourself. An ex-alcoholic has written about discovering God’s Love through Jesus and how this made it possible for her to conquer the alcoholism. “I am a person now,” she wrote. “I feel good and clean ‘cause now I know that God don’t make no junk.” That’s terrible grammar, but beautiful theology: “God don’t make no junk.”
