A 70-year-old, widowed grandmother decided to take a cross-country motor trip all by herself. The journey went well for the most part. Help at “self-service” gas pumps always seemed to be available and there were plenty of “senior citizen” discounts at motels and restaurants along the way. But one evening, she encountered a real problem. It was time for her prescription medication, which she needed to take daily. The first bottle of the two she brought with her was now empty. And the second bottle had one of those “child proof” caps which she never quite mastered. She pushed and she pulled on the cap until her fingers were sore. But it just wouldn’t open.
