A little nine-year-old girl came home from school on the Monday before Easter and announced to her mother that this was to be the last week of school for the year. Knowing that there were at least three months left in the school term, the little girl’s mother told her that she must be mistaken. “But Mommy, it’s true!” the child insisted. “The teacher even gave us a note about it. It says that ‘all Borough schools will be closed for Good, Friday.’”
