For the what it’s worth department…this story of a fire- breathing British parson is supposedly true, according to my source which shall remain anonymous: Dr. Stephen Power, a surgeon in England, tells of the embarrassed parson whose breath caught fire every time he blew or attempted to blow out the altar candles. According to our good doctor, the cause was an internal buildup of an inflammable gas due to the parson’s duodenal ulcer. An operation took the fire out of the parson’s mouth!
