COMPROMISE OR OPPORTUNITY
Jack Longley, Presbyterian Pastor from San Jose, California recently sent me a clipping from the local classified section. One of his members had clipped it out and passed it on to him. It read: PREACHER. We would like to find a clergyperson who will marry us in a cocktail lounge on February 14, 1981. Call aft. 4 p.m. 555-2620. I don’t know about you – but I seriously doubt I would ever marry anyone who called me a clergyperson.
