Another forgetful friend is at it again. Somewhere around midnight the other day he remembered with a start that he had forgotten to leave a memo to himself on his desk at the office. The note was to remind him, 1) to phone a photographer and 2) to break a dentist appointment. Uncertain if he would ever remember to take care of these things by morning, he tossed and turned, finally getting out of bed to watch a movie on television.
Then, at last, he had a solution: phone his own extension at the office and leave himself a voice-mail message. He dialed the number, left himself a message and, carefree, fell asleep.
