“For you have been born again not of seed which is perishable, that is, through the living and enduing word of God” (I Peter 1:23).
A sign was posted in the produce section of a large supermarket. It read, “If you wish something that you don’t see displayed, ask our Perishable Manager.” Although in-artfully worded, that sign spoke the truth: the produce manager is perishable, just as you and I are perishable. We’re all perishable!
