“Yes, my yoke is easy, and my burden is light” (Mt. 11:30).
The story is told of a man who felt as though he had the weight of the world on his shoulders. One bright autumn day he was sitting at the breakfast table, thinking. “I’ve certainly had a lot of problems lately,” he said to himself — “troubles at work, troubles at home, troubles with the kids. I really ought to take time to pray about them.” Then a strange thing happened! In the troubled man’s own words …

Suddenly, I sensed that someone had walked into the room and was standing behind me. I turned and gasped. “Lord Jesus, what are You doing here?” I sputtered. The unexpected visit had unsettled me, to say the least, and I wondered why He had come. Had I done something wrong?

“Would you like to go for a walk?” I heard him say. “Sure, Lord,” I replied. And so we walked down the little country…
