The stars were there for wishing
And the wind was there for kites
And the morning sun was there
for rise and shine But I wonder …
What happened to the robin’s song?
Will I ever catch another butterfly?

It’s good to be able to become wistfully nostalgic about childhood for just a moment. It may happen when suddenly we realize the years are creeping up on us. It may be that the pressures of work or some other responsibility are weighing heavily upon us, and for just a fleeting moment, perhaps, we remember it the way it was: the joy and the freedom of flying kites and chasing butterflies. We remember what it was like when we were children.

Good parents do everything they can to help their son grow into manhood and their daughter grow into womanhood. But there are times when the weight of this responsibility gets very heavy, and for a brief moment parents…
