One day a butterfly was flying about in a meadow. It noticed below a brilliant multi-colored expanse filled with little yellow, red, purple and pink objects. The butterfly was so taken by the sight that he decided to go down and talk to some of the brightly-colored things.
First, he encountered a daisy. “Why don’t you flit around as I do?” he asked. “Don’t you get tired of sitting here so still?” The daisy replied, “If I get tired during the heat of the day I just wait until night comes. Then I look up at the sky and watch the stars come out. I love the stars. I think they are the most beautiful things in the world and I long to be like them.” “That’s amazing,” said the butterfly. “You do look like the stars”
