In a Midwestern Church, the crib-room is filled to capacity every Sunday without fail. As you enter the room, you see a large framed sign hanging on the wall over the long line of cribs. It reads, “Not all of us shall fall asleep, but all of us are to be changed.” I don’t have to remind the Bible experts among us that this line is a direct quote from St. Paul, First Corinthians, Chapter 15, Verse 51: “Not all of us shall fall asleep, but all of us are to be changed.” I know for a fact that not all of us are asleep, but I cannot help wondering if there are many of us who are being changed. Are there many of us who really believe we need to change? Are there many of us who understand that the Word of God we hear in Church is always and without exception a call to change?
