Jesus decides to go up a mountain to pray by Himself after He has fed more than five thousand people by multiplying a few loaves of bread and a few fish. He instructs the disciples to precede Him by boat across the Sea of Galilee. But strong winds and high waves hinder their crossing. When they see Jesus walking across the water to help them, they are terrified. The miracle of the loaves and fishes notwithstanding, their narrow-minded faith will not admit of the possibility that Jesus can do this…
