Healing is an important subject for us, not only because we want to be healthy, but because God has called us to be instruments of healing to others.

A health-care professional tells this lovely story of the healing ministry of a woman named Sue Reed, to whom she gave the title, “Our Lady of the Daily Mail”:

While working as a nurse, I took care of an eight-year-old crippled boy. One day he asked me to read him a letter from his “Aunt Sue.” The letter ran more like a diary:

Dear Frankie: Today you and I will take the bugs off the potato vines. Get a stick and a can, hold the can under the bug and knock it off with the stick. When the can is full, I’ll show you what to do.
