If the Christ is born in Bethlehem a million times, and trudges the dusty roads of Palestine, preaching for a million years, but is not born in your heart and life — then what difference does the Gospel make; what difference does this Christmas Day make?
Remember way back when a husband was not allowed to go into the labor room with his expectant wife? He was told to have a seat in the “Fathers’ Waiting Room” where there was always a good supply of year-old magazines. And his first look at his new-born baby was through a glass partition.
