Magi,
A proud grand-uncle recalls, in glowing terms, the first word spoken by his grand-niece, at age fifteen months:
She did not go with the traditional “Momma” or “Dadda.” Instead my kid brother’s happy little daughter said, “Wow!”
I love that “Wow!” I hope her first word will stay with her for the rest of her life, and occupy a prominent part in her heart and soul.

It has been reported that by the time kids arrive at the second grade level, they already have lost their sense of awe and wonder — their sense of “Wow!” One can only hope that this is not true.
