A duck, a rabbit and an eagle enrolled in an animal school which held classes in swimming, running and flying. The duck already was an excellent swimmer, so it went to running class. Although it spent long hours learning how to run nevertheless it never became much of runner. And because it spent most of its time on the running track instead of on the lake, it was not longer an excellent swimmer.
The rabbit was already an excellent runner so it went to flying class. But it broke its leg while trying to fly and, with only three sound legs, it was not longer much of a runner.
Of course the eagle was already an excellent flyer, so it went to swimming class. But it didn’t make much progress because every time it tried to swim it became waterlogged, which also affected its ability to fly as before.
And when the school-term was over, none of the three was very good…
