In days gone by, gifts were wrapped in anything handy, including newspaper. Imagine opening a gift this morning wrapped in the day’s headlines. Not very good news — not a message of celebration. Yet today, we are invited to wrap ourselves in the Good News of a gracious God who becomes one of us to tell us that He loves us.
