The story is told of an ongoing exchange between a famous statesman and his biographer. Sometime after the author submitted his first draft, the political leader asked, “Is this the best you can do?” The biographer replied, “Well sir, I thought so, but I’ll try again.” So back he went to craft his work returning in a few days with a revised version.
