Later that day he was invited to the home of a rich parishioner. The wealthy man conducted the preacher over his vast estate. Looking over his abundance and recalling the morningís sermon the rich man said, ìDo you mean to tell me that this land doesnít really belong to me?î To which the clergy man replied, ìAsk me that question one hundred years from now.î

When we say ìYes!î to the amazing grace of God as it is revealed to us in Jesus Christ, many wonderful things begin to happen. One of them is that we find ourselves drawn into a new family, a new community. And in this blessed Community of Christ we are nourished at the deepest levels of our existence. Moreover, we are given the opportunity to minister to other persons in wonderfully life-enriching ways.
