Being a follower of Christ in isolation is a contradiction. Together, we pray to the Father in Jesus’ Name. Together, we worship the Father in Jesus’ Name. And, together in Jesus’ Name, we express our love for the Father through our love for one another. “Where two or three are gathered in My Name, there am I in their midst” (Mt.18:20). What a vision! What a tremendous vision of hope we have been given to share and proclaim! Visions of God come to us who call ourselves “Christian,” not in a collection of words, no matter how artfully put together, but in a collection of people we call the Brotherhood of Christ.
