...many tax collectors and those known as sinners came to join Jesus and His disciples at dinner. The Pharisees saw this and complained to His disciples, 'What reason can the Teacher have for eating with tax collectors and those who disregard the law?'

Once upon a time there was a little boy who received a velveteen rabbit for Christmas. The rabbit was fat and bunchy. His coat was spotted brown and white. He had real thread whiskers. His ears were lined with pink sateen. As with most Christmas gifts, the velveteen rabbit was well received at first, but soon he became lost in the collection of toys and the excitement of Christmas day. The velveteen rabbit began to feel very insignificant and commonplace. Other toys would wind up, jump around and “whur”-but the velveteen rabbit just sat there. The only person who was kind to him at all was the Skin Horse. The Skin Horse was the sage of the nursery.
