A little boy was playing with his toy “Construction Kit.” His father noticed that the boy was building something with great care. “What are you building?” the father asked. The boy whispered to his dad, “I’ve built a Church.” But why are you whispering?” the father asked. “Because everybody’s asleep,” the little boy replied.
A “do-it-yourself” man bought a bargain lawn tractor which had to be assembled. He worked for hours putting the machine together, but when he pressed the “Start” button, nothing happened. He retraced his work, made a few adjustments, pushed the “Start” button, but still nothing happened. He then looked into the packing carton to see if he had forgotten a part. What he found was a small booklet with these words printed on the cover: When all else fails, read the instructions.
In Chapter Thirteen of Romans, the Apostle Paul says:
“… you know what hour it is, how it is full time now for you to wake…
