It was the committee membersí responsibility to patrol the church every Sunday to see if anyone was asleep during the sermon. One Sunday, a committee member dutifully marched up the center aisle and proceeded to wake up the preacher.
There are times, I am willing to admit, when we could use such a committee around here. But not today! Never on Easter Sunday! Christ is risen! And thatís our earth-shattering, mind-boggling wake-up call.
